About the
WILLAMETTE COIN CLUB
Portland, Oregon, USA
CLUB HISTORY AND ACTIVITIES
The club was founded in 1986 by a group of numismatists with varied interests.
We have hosted the Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association (PNNA) Coin Show for the years of 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999. The Willamette Coin Club will be hosting the 2004 American Numismatic Association's Mid-Winter Show to be held at the Portland Convention Center, the site of the 1998 ANA Convention.
The Willamette Coin Club is proud to host the 51st Annual Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association Convention and Coin Show. This show fills a unique niche in the nation's coin shows as it is the only major show held on Easter weekend in the country and you still have time to celebrate the holiday with your family.
Portland coin dealer, all round good guy, and bon vivant John Haugh has written a 12 page John Haugh's Guide to the City of Portland for prospective attendees to the PNNA convention in Portland this year. Anyone interested can receive a free copy courtesy of the host Willamette Coin Club simply by e-mailing president Rob Retz at auctoricon@aol.com and including a snail mail address.
